Currently...no, there is no way you can do this. There are people apperently working on getting homebrew on all firmware versions, I'm afraid you'll just have to wait till they solve it!

NOTE: I say apparently because many people were heavily working on this, but with limited success and the X360 just come out, I firmly believe they've given up to work on other consoles!...I hope they prove me wrong though!

The olny availble homebrew for version, 2.50 is edison carters cheat device for gta lcs, and the hello world demo, you can also play tetris on version 2.01+.
Fanjita is currenlty working on a n eboot loader for 2.5, which will allow you to play emulators, such as genisis and nes, ect. it should be released in the next few weeks hopefully
