Hmmm maybe I was too negative on that last post...
SoCal you are right, forums are here to disagree with each other. So let me begin by saying, "FUUUCK YOU!" Instead of quiffing from that **** you call mouth do something ****ing good for the community and help the custom firmware build rather than bringing it down. PSP Quake II people are sick and tired just because of ****s like you bringing down people's work. They are at LEAST doing something, what are you doing? Biiitch bitch bitch. Since we don't know how to write to ROM yet, hey.. why even start writing a custom Firmware right? AAAAAARRRGH I HATE YOU!! I've never met you, never seen you... yet you made me hate you.

if it is possible, pleeeeeeeeeaaaaazzzzzz change the version number of the flash version to a high number, for example 5.10! I think then it would be possible to "upgrade" from 2.5 or even 2.6 to your version. If this is possible then youre tha man!!!!!
nope. in fact you have my applause.Originally Posted by MadMonkee

I agree with everyone. It may not be perfectly useable at the moment, but its a step in the right direction. This proves that it can be done and now all thats needed is to learn how to write it.
I would love to know how to do this (and maybe help in some small way), but I haven't a clue where to start. Good on you Gameshark and on all that have contributed to get this going.
SoCal, how can you say that its better to just use 2.00 or 2.50, when 1.5 and 1.00 are the ones that most people want (and to a certain extent 2.00) I had trouble getting my 2.00 to work, so I downgraded and am now happy on 1.5. There are a few things I want from the new firmwares (like the web browser from 2.60) but the advantages of 1.5 outweigh those of 2.01+.
Good on you all that have brought the homebrew scene alive and keep it upGod Bless you all
