Question GPS not recognised (PSP-290 on fat psp)

    Hi,

I was trying to run MapThis! on 3.40 OE-A firmware and the GPS wasn't working. I just upgraded to 3.52 M33.

Satellite info is not coming up while GPS mode is turned on. Am I missing a step of configuration possibly?

    Thanks all.

*BTW Fake Feed is not enabled.
*GPS Status is ON, but no satellites pick up

Check Wiki rave about MapThis! -
    http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Map_This!
It includes mention of two things which could be problem:
1 - Two .prx files might be nneded but since your softwre is running but not finding your GPS system then it is probably -
2 - Mentioned in troubleshooting section of Wiki manual - the fact that some downgraders can casue problems with certain keys, including the one which GPS uses, fix with http://pspupdates.qj.net/KeyCleaner-.../49/aid/102578 (Chilly Willy's Keycleaner) which has it's own well written readme file
