Badly scratched GD-ROM

Okay, so I used to have a working Jet Grind Radio and Power Stone 2 for my DC, but they don't run anymore, and even though I have found burnable images (on The Pirate Bay, but this is legal as I have the originals...) to attempt to have a working copy.

The actual problem is that my DC hangs at the logo screen and then drops to the main menu, saying that the disc is invalid. (Note that the originals do that too, but they are very badly scratched)

I have tried all sorts of things, to be honest, including burning at about 4x instead of 48-52x, using BootDreams v1.0.6b, and still no luck. Any idea?

It's not legal because you have the originals.

How do we know you have the originals? And you're not just asking for illegal burning advice?
