why can't you do that with a memorystick? You can get a 128 MB one with enough room for about 250 savegames for 10-15 bucks.

    blue tooth?
This would increase the cost of the psp as wifi and bluetooth operate over the exact same radio frequencies and thus require a more complex and expensive controllers for them. You would also have to squeeze another antenna into the crowed psp.

a screen that doesnt seem like 40% of its new trick is just software over saturation?
Perhaps, but I don't think I have ever seen an image that was over saturated where the color blue turns into the color brown.

Screen does look better, but I wonder if it is true that you can play outside with sunlight. And again, I hope there aren't many changes to the motherboard and the screen could be adapted to a psp slim, maybe with a plugin to handle the new brightness and stuff

I definitely want it for the screen. Especially when it comes to homebrew. A lot of emulators and PS1 games can be dark, have some bad ghosting, and seem dull.

This will make commercial games and homebrew much more appetizing to the eye.

I've still got a phat, never really needed the slim because I only use the PSP on the road and not on the TV(the extra 32 ram is a nice upgrade though). Now with this badlad I actually want one once homebrew is enabled. I use my psp for emulation alot on long trips. Anyone know if the screen has a better refresh rate or anything to deal with psp 1000-2000 ghosting problem? I haven't heard anything about it.

Having just bought one, I can say this about the psp-3001:
-The ghosting issue that was so annoying on the 1000 series seems greatly diminished. You have to be actively looking for it to really notice it.

-However, as mentioned earlier, there is a noticeable interlacing issue that has replaced the ghosting. This is only noticeable during sudden horizontal movements, and overall it is far less distracting than the ghosting ever was.

-In all, I'd say that the screen certainly marks an overall improvement for the psp.

-Final note: the curved edges on the system make it much more comfortable to hold over longer periods of time, especially if, like myself, you tend to hold your system in a death-grip.
