No, slim is not compatible with older firmwares. This has been discussed before. I'm not sure if time Machine works with 5.0 firmware but it is the only way to do 1.5 firmware on the slim

Well PCEP requires 1.5 kernel still and with no source (that I'm aware of) probably wont ever get sorted out for user mode and this emu is the most superior with its compatibility for Turbo-grafx cds with mp3 sound etc... plus on mame4all on the 1.5 kernel version I've found on my phat psp more larger games work without it crashing compared to the user mode build. I also I prefer the offical gpsp version, irshell etc.

So yeah... i still want the 1.5 addon to be updated anyway. :thumbup:

You're incorrect. This firmware does work on the slim.
Time machine is different, you don't need to have the 1.5 kernal to use CFW, only to play 1.5 titles.

5.0 M33 runs on slims, this (the 1.50 kernel addon) does not.

for real what are you smoking, no 1.5 kernel on slim due to slim being released with 3.60 I believe and phat got released with 1.50 couple years ago. do you research before getting on someone

HACKER MODE doesn't work in kernel3 Filer 4.9.
The 1.5 version of Filer 5.1 flashes ok with the addon installed.

Ok I can't figure this out. I downloaded the 150k_addon500.rar and 150.pbp

Since my drive letter is K, I put 150.pbp at K:/ and I put the files from 150k_addon500.rar (EBOOT.PBP, ipl_update.prx, libpsardumper.prx, and pspdecrypt.prx) at K:/PSP/GAME5XX

That's step 1 and 2 but how do I run the installer? When I go to the game menu there corrupt data that wasn't there before adding this. So I think maybe I did something wrong? Or is there some other way to run this kernel? Please help me

Edit: I guess it was my memory card. I was using an old one that was already setup before moving to 5XX firmware. I formatted a new card and put the files where it said to and it updated fine. Thanks
