yep, let the poor suffer.
they're all just lazy thats all.
That link is to Social democracy not Socialism.. Theres a big difference. I do have a good understanding of socialism, as does Obama. Even if you dont understand Socialism then you should at least understand that "spreading the wealth" is not capitalist and is not American.
If you worked your butt off and managed to get a business up and running and you're just starting to do well then Obama thinks that you should give some of your hard earned cash to the people who are poorer than you. People who cant hold down a job. If you have money then its just not fair if the next guy doesnt. Bull crap if you ask me.
That IS Socialism and whether he admits to it or not, which he doesnt, a large amount of his ideas are based in Socialism.
I was really hoping we could stray away from name calling of the candidates and things like that.. I mean if people call the people on the side I support idiots I might be inclined to do the same and that would likely lead to escalation.

I agree, shouldn't be forced. Should not need to be forced…
calm, calm.
There isn't a big difference. The form of socialism taken up in democratic countries is democratic socialism.
What about the trust fund kid who hasn't broken a sweat in his life that receives millions of dollars from failed banks. If the economy was healthier, and the market kept in check he would of been fired and punished for such disastrous management. Instead the small businesses once financed by the bank gets the rug pulled under its feat.If you worked your butt off and managed to get a business up and running and you're just starting to do well then Obama thinks that you should give some of your hard earned cash to the people who are poorer than you. People who cant hold down a job. If you have money then its just not fair if the next guy doesnt. Bull crap if you ask me.
Remember, I proudly stand by an open market economy, but a market economy needs to be kept in check in times where extreme abuses are taking place that hurt the overall performance of the economy. This doesn't make me a socialist.
Taxing the rich more then the poor is still not socialism. That IS Socialism and whether he admits to it or not, which he doesnt, a large amount of his ideas are based in Socialism.
Who cares? this is no personal attack against you merely an argument of viewpoints on a forum. I'm actually quite in line with most traditional ('conservative' if you must call it) policies and I find Pallin an embarrassment to the once quite distinguished McCain. I stand by my statement.I was really hoping we could stray away from name calling of the candidates and things like that.. I mean if people call the people on the side I support idiots I might be inclined to do the same and that would likely lead to escalation.

Before the VPs were nominated I was solidly McCain. Now I'm in the middle and trying to find any info on what his views about the role of VP should be. Since it is defined on a per-president basis (other than the few traditional roles), if he's just going to have Palin cast the tiebreaking vote and plan some parties I'm still with 'im. If anyone knows, I'd appreciate sharing.

If anyone is looking to buy, sell, trade games and support a developer directly at the same time, consider joining Goozex. Enjoy!
