    GC FCE Ultra GX v2.0.6 Nes Emulator for Nintendo Wii and Nintendo Gamecube

    Dborth or Tantric as he is known on DCEmu has released a new version of his Nes Emulator for the Nintendo Wii and Gamecube

    Heres the release details:

    FCE Ultra GX is a modified port of the FCE Ultra 0.98.12 Nintendo Entertainment system for x86 (Windows/Linux) PC's. With it you can play NES games on your Wii/GameCube. Version 2 is a complete rewrite based on code from SNES9x GX.

    We are always looking for more volunteers to help with coding, write documentation, translations, or anything. Contact us if you wish to help.

    iNES, FDS, VS, UNIF, and NSF ROM support
    1-4 Player support
    Zapper support

    I'm happy to say the video scalers all work again. The down-side, however, is that everything runs in slow-motion (regardless of scaler choice). I wonder if the HQ audio filter is too much for my lowly 'cube.

    I appreciate the author's hard work on this and hope my feedback is useful (I don't want to come across as thoughtlessly critical).
