    The PSP is on a 10 year life cycle.
    It was released in march of 2005, which means in 2010 it will only be 5 years old.

    Unfortunately I wouldn't expect a PSP 2 until 2015, but perhaps Sony will make a smart move and release it in 2010-2012.
    All we can do is hope.

    I thought that a 10-year life cycle meant that it would be supported for 10 years, like the PS1 and PS2. I myself just couldn't see the PSP being one of the main competitors in 2015.

    bluetooth

    some internal storage (512 ~ 1gb for savegames, maybe some music)

    faster umd drive

    a screen that isnt 25% hype, 45% software and 30% crap

    oh and SOME FREAKIN GAMES ALREADY

    More RAM memory, Java support (not only javascript),
    Shockwave support would be cool.

    the only problem with a built in HD is that it kills battery life
    ....i remember that was the reason that HD mods arent more popular for current PSPs
