I thought that a 10-year life cycle meant that it would be supported for 10 years, like the PS1 and PS2. I myself just couldn't see the PSP being one of the main competitors in 2015.

bluetooth
some internal storage (512 ~ 1gb for savegames, maybe some music)
faster umd drive
a screen that isnt 25% hype, 45% software and 30% crap
oh and SOME FREAKIN GAMES ALREADY
More RAM memory, Java support (not only javascript),
Shockwave support would be cool.
the only problem with a built in HD is that it kills battery life
....i remember that was the reason that HD mods arent more popular for current PSPs
- 4GB & 8GB built-in hard drive models
- Fixed LCD screen (obviously)
- Extended battery life
the PSP 4000 :
for me:-bluetooth ( cellulair fone- headset for skype)
- AV-in ( vieuwing photos , video )
