New Street Fighter HD Remix shots

Capcom sure is taking its time with Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix (Ultra Mega banana remix edition, 292 to Brent Cross, or something), but at least these screens serve as assurance it's going to look pretty good when it is finally released.

HD Remix is a remake of the original Street Fighter II Turbo, featuring all the original gameplay code wrapped in nice new high-resolution 2D visuals.

Capcom promises the game, due for PSN and XBLA, will be out this year.

I played this game at the Eurogamer Expo in East London two days ago, it was really awsome to play. Okay, I was actually playing it on the Xbox 360 but I'm sure the controls won't be all that different. I've not really played the series before but I was beating many others at it. Looking forward for it to hit the PSN sometime soon.
