Should the screen with the disc go away at some point? If so, how long does it take?

yeah it should do pretty much straight away, once you load the adf, try loading the adf into drive 0 and then resesting the amiga (using the menu). Mine only stuck on the disk screen on one game the other 2 i tried booted straight away, you tryed different adfs?

Thanks for the help. I just never hit the home button to bring up the GUI. I wish there had been a better guide than the readme that came with it.

Just found out that an Amiga Emu was out for the Wii and tried installing it. Got a 2Gb SD card that i put the \uae4wii\ in root and the kick.rom (512kb) inside it but i cant get the GUI to display. When i press the Home button in the homw screen there is just as it was before. Any ideas?

hi, I too am a complete newbie to the modding and emulator side of the wii.

a workmate gave me a disc that goes to game cube mode and is full of master system, megadive, NES, SNES, turboFX...but more is better.

i would love to get this Amiga one working!
when i extract the RAR file it says that something is corrupt.

could someone do a screen shot of the files exactly how should it be setup on the SD card to work...

and how do i get the wii to open the sd card to start the emulator?

where do i get the kick.rom (512kb) from.

any help would be much appreciated. i just want to play the games o my child hood!

ok with a bit more research

i got the homebrew channel loaded to my wii.
i have a few apps that seem to work others that dont.
i put the uae4wii into the apps folder of the SD card.
the emulator shows up in the homebrew channel. i can click to open but the screen goes black has a couple numbers and squares in the bottom right of screen, then it goes back to the homebrew channel.

    so frustrating!

Have you got the correct kickstart rom for UAE4ALL?

I would advise you to install the Homebrew Browser. With this, you can install just about any app directly from the internet to your Wii and everything will go to the correct folders.

Some apps need additional files that are not distributed with the application (such as UAE4All which needs a kickstart rom) and so for these you should read the documentation (usually a 'readme.txt' file) that comes with the application.
