pointless, what you think the update v3 for 5.00m33 did, gave 5.01 features. and anyone on the 5.00m33-3 can hex edit simply or use the multicahracter nickname homebrew by davee for changing the name. so pointless. thats all
Heres an unnofficial custom firmware by alpha:
Alpha has just released a patch to update Dark_AleX's 5.00 M33-3 firmware with the features from 5.01.
This is not an official release by Dark_AleX, but a patch made by a fan. Here's what Alpha has to say.
As Dark_AleX probably isn't going to make 5.00 M33, here is a small patch to use the latest features
Plus an hex-edited vshctrl.prx to say 5.01 M33.
Tested and working on Slim and Classic PSP's
Again, ALL credits goes to Dark_AleX, I only updated, HEX-edited vshctrl, and wrote this flasher.
*It only flashes the changed modules, so it only works from 5.00 M33-3.
Copy the contents of ms_root to your memory stick.
If you used this before, please run it again, a very nasty bug has been fixed.

Think I'll wait for next alex fw
Is this like getting a sticker and puting it over? and calling it new or does it really add anything other than a "1" at the end of 5.00?
