PSP Custom Firmware Help

Okay, this has probably been asked before >.>
I have a Fat PSP, System Firmware 2.60. How do I get custom firmware onto it? Do I need to downgrade it and do I need a certain game? (I have Luminies). Thanks to anyone who can help me.

oh you can do 2 things. 1 you could make a buy a Pandora battery from Datel and make a magic memstick. Or 2 you could google or youtube your problem.

another solution would be the lumines exploit... however there is even a better exploit which is the tiff exploit for 2.71

quite a old exploit and my history is rough on it but fairly easy to do... ill see about getting links in a bit

I'd be upping to 2.80 and downgrading from there, its much safer.
