Issues with Pokemon FireRed

I dont know if I am the only one who is having a delimma with this game. I tried Gameshark codes, action replay codes, European Codes for both styles and neather are working. I am using the Master Code, Infinate Money, Buy Items Part 1 and Part 2. I was wondering are there trigger commands that are to be needed?

Ive decided to just use Action Replay Codes!

i dont know if this is true but i think you can only use 1 line codes like
