question on TTDS

i just recieved this card with a 2gb storage from dealsextreme. I installed the firmware etc. Made a folder for the games. Heres the kicker. It decides to work sometimes. Like when it passes the health and safety screen and the smiley loading face...great im set. But a lot of the time i dont get there. I just get two gray screens. I tried formatting, updating, and not filling up the card too much. Still it is being torublesome. How can i fix this issue? I really want to enjoy my DS but this thing aint letting me.

The card says its DS LITE compatible.

Was it ina blister or carded box? They have several and only some say "original product, tested..." and so forth. Carded box ones are also newer and less buggy. Could be that your contacts aren't lining up, try a thin paper buffer and see if that helps.
