Default Psp bricked, can it be saved?

I have a psp with custom firmware, i was using 3.90-99 (or something like that) and decided to upgrade to 5.00, and during the update, the psp went down and the battery got out of place (yeah, i know, i didn't put psp in a safe place, my fault) and now when i try to turn on the console, only the power led turns on, the screen doesnt. I know the console is bricked and i have seen some things about Pandora Battery and Magic Memory stick, but only if it was half bricked (?). Any solution?

Pandora's battery is a blessing. Now, in all honesty, even though you are supporting stolen work, I recommend buying Datel's tool battery to do the dirty work(just because it's cheaper and a safe transaction, in all honesty I did it myself, an extra 60 bucks is a bit much), then you can find some sort of GUI to do the memory stick IPL injecting and what not, and you should be good.
