Wow that sucks, that was mostly the reason I decided not to vote. All my friends got caught doing jury duty....... even you SP! noooo damn government lol
I got my mom out of it by calling this one number on the sheet they sent and just dialed the number for not understanding english all too well and that automatically disqualified her. In her case its not a lie as she really doesn't understand or speak it well but if you feel like getting out try calling that number then just do as I said. You still have to mail the sheet in though.
Good Luck!
Get on with it man.
If you've been summonded to do it, step up to the plate like a man.
I can understand why you don't want to do it, but you need to. You aren't the only one that won't want to go.

I was summoned to do jury duty about a year ago. I threw the letter out and forgot about it. Havn't heard anything from them since. Apparently it was just luck that they didnt get in touch with me. My mother was angry because I could have got in a bit of trouble. I'd be interested in going though. Id like to see all that stuff accordion mentioned take place in front of me, injustice and such...
bullhead.
I'm a student so they can't get me![]()
Don't you mean subjectivity? If you are found in any way relating to case to hold bias(es) to some relating particular of the case, there is a good possibility you could be dismissed.
For instance:
A person of a certain ethnic background is being tried for a crime, but you are a proclaimed or evident member of a hate group against that ethnicity. Not good obviously!
In short, sorry, not sure...
