How to get rid of Health sing

Hi guys i have done this with my ds lite before but i had to use a slot -2 adapter to to it. Is there a way to get rid of the intro screen Helth warning sing in the ds lite with out having to use a slot -2 card and if so can somebody point me to a tutorial. I know theres one here but i dont know if that will do this from what i read up on. Because thats the one i had to use a slot -2 with. any help i will apreciated.

there are plenty of videos on youtube. you need a flashcard, flashme, a small stick/toothpick and some aluminum foil.
