Anyone? I just want to make sure before I mess with my PSP.
Can I just upgrade straight from 3.52 M33 to 5.00 M33?
Thanks.

...........Anyone out there?
I updated direct from 3.71 m33-4 on a phat. No prob.
Nobody here seems to know about 3.52 m33. You might find the
answer at dark-alex.org
I'd guess 3.52 m33-4 is ok, and the updater probbly checks that
your f/w will work before it starts flashing, but ultimately it's
"at your own risk",
so maybe the thing to do is backup your Nand, and be ready to get
yourself a pandora battery if things go wrong..

What's the 'Nand' ? Sorry, I'm a noob to these things, haven't been on the PSP Homebrew scene in a while.
Nand: A bank of (flash) memory holding id data unique to each PSP, like Serial no.
The Pandora process needs the original Nand data to reboot a CFW from
Service mode, so having a backup makes a totally bricked situation less likely,
If you're lucky, somebody'll post a link for a Nand backup utility
without anybody needing to google DC7.
Hmm I see...maybe I should update to 3.71 m33-4 and try, since it worked for you? Not really in the position to buy a new PSP, and no clue where to buy just a battery, besides online stores.
Yeah, The Battery makes it easier to be gungho about flashing.
3.52-4 -> 3.71-1 -> 3.71-4 -> 5.00-1
should do the job.
Seriously mate, how hard is it to read the README file.
DAX does make it for a reason.
But FYI You need to be on 3.52 M33-4 or HIGHER to update to 5.00 M33
