Default Does the term UFO Make sense

For me, it came up randomly, but Think about it.

Now a UFO standing for an Unidentified Flying Object, is a term Describing Flying Saucers or unknown aircrafts (more uncommonly)

So If a UFO is "Unidentified" how is it known as a flying saucer.. kind of wierd huh?

The shape of an object isn't an identity in and of itself. UFO means simply that, and object that is flying that can't be identified.

A "UFO" does not necessarily mean it has come from out've space or flying saucer, it simply refers to the object as "unidentified" as for saying that it is something like an "alien spaceship" or "flying saucer" will make people look silly if it turns out to be nothing more than just a bird or blimp in the sky (which many cases in the U.S. are).

The term flying saucer, I believe is just the fictional side of alien ships made popular in early movies and comic-books with the "visitors from another planet" styled theme.

As for UFO's, I saw one on Monday... Though I'm not claiming it is alien, though possibly "inter-dimensional" due to it's weird disappearance (too many documentaries).

Here's my evidence, though it's nothing to actually go by... Because everytime I view it, I see something new each time. But then, maybe it's just the light? Though it's still unidentified.

Open the spoiler, to see the images from the original video.

    Spoiler!

I don't really care what the object is, I just want to know how it appeared and disappeared to re-appear and vanish?

Oh, and I didn't see it when I was filming. I only saw it after, when I played it back.

That looks like film artifacts... speck of dirt on the lens, or a crink in the tape or bad patch of memory. Also, it's been well documented how MANY insects move in such a way that video captures them as different shapes in each frame (there's a term for them that I can't remember now).

I recorded on the devices internal memory, so I doubt that there are any bad patches because I use it daily (and clean it's lens).

It could actually be that there was something that caught the sunlight, as from where that hill is the sun rises from that point in the morning (East) and then by the time of when the video was being shot the sun was almost behind where I was (South West going West).

As for the insect thing, there are many terms used and are well documented. One documentary I watched, spoke about "Rods" which is an object that appears briefly and then disappears... Though not related to my object, as Rods are different. If I knew anything more of my object, I would either read or watch a documentary about it to find out as much as I can.

In the video it looks more like someone is dropping something from the roof....

And rods are common on 30/60fps recording (and even higher). Was this with a cell or digicam? Most of those use lower framerate, which would make fast moving objects appear even more anomalous (and at lower speeds).

Yeah, for example, If I threw a baby at you, and no one knew about it, and all you saw was a blur before you were rendered unconcious, and then you were awoken only to be asked what it was that hit you, it would be refered to as a UFO. But only if you wanted to say, "A UFO knocked me out"
