pre soldered wiikey 2 on a clip help?

i ordered a wiikey v2 presoldered on a clip and it arrived today and i turned it on to test it while it was on the IC and it did the whole "red light blue light" thing when the wii boots up. when i try to put in a disc it doesn't take the disc in like normal and when i went on the wii clip website to check out troubleshooting tips and it said for a DMS(like mine) wii to cut the "D E F G" solder lines,how would i go about cutting them?

did you get this to work? I have the same issue. I have mailed the retailer but not received any answer....
