That's odd, it should work, but you WILL get those same symptoms if you only connect 12 and 5v, so you might be having a problem with the 3.3v connection (that's what powers the CPU).

I just got myself a JAP dreamcast, but it isnt workings :s
I use a atx power supply to deliver the 12v / 5v / 3v because jap is 110v and belgium is 220.. I connected the power supply to the inside pins of the dreamcast..
The light lights up, the fan is blowing.. But i'm not seeing or hearing anything on tv :s? And the cd isn't turning either :s
Is there a fix for this?

I think the cpu works perfectly, i opened the dreamcast to the bottom where i saw the cpu and the graphic card (2 metal things with heatpipes).. and they were both hot![]()
cant you use a step down converter and try it with useing dreamcast power board
