Problems saving in snes9xa

when i try to save in snes9xa i get this message

"Couldn't save fat: //fceugx/saves/SNES9x.xml"

um..any solution?

i use the snes9xgx emulator but i had a similar problem at first, but i took careful note of the error messages, and simply created folders in the directories that the error message described, with the name of the folder it was looking for as a folder name. as long as the directory the error message is looking for EXISTS, it should work.
