i would say the biggest event of 2008 was the cracking of the Wii for Homebrew, cant think of anything bigger to be fair.

I only really follow PSP homebrew, but that wii hack does sound pretty ground-breaking......

I would say that the daedalusx64 update put out in november is pretty huge, even though it is not working 100% its still a pretty huge diff between daedalus r14 and daedalus x64 compared to earlier revisions.

My thoughts exactly. I don't endorse piracy at all, but these were about as big as it got for homebrew in 2008.

what about the twilight hack? Sure the homebrew channel works better than it, but the twilight hack was the means of access to all non-modchip homebrew.
