its funny because the first time I came across this thread I thought why should some one bother setting a button layout to an emualtor that will never come out. I'm eating my words happily now.

I've always wondered why non-coders think this is such a grand issue in the writing/porting/magically summoning an emulator.

But regardless it seems to be the first thing people say whenever there's a "could you emulate this?" or "help needed emulating this" topic.
