For me, one will do just fine to achieve that purpose, with about 1950 GB of free space.

But seriously, imagine if they manage to pull this off, I think almost all storage devices will go down the drain if not all of them, you could easily replace it for a Harddrive on a lighter more powerful laptop or netbook

If I worked for the government, I would copy a database of everyone in the country's bank details, medical history and criminal records onto it then accidentally leave it on a train.

Seriously though, data usage always expands to fill the storage available - e.g. improvements in audio and video quality have gone hand in hand with increases in storage space. I remember when hard drives were physically huge but the capacity was measured in tens of megabytes, and some people wondered why we would ever need anything bigger. Now I'm sure that in a few years we will wonder how we ever coped with only 2TB on such an enormous card.

2TB is the maximum theoretical capacity of one of them, not something that will be easily done for a while, I'd think though.
