    Default NeoGeo PC games.

Im useing NeoCD PSP Version 0.7.2 , and got it to work. I notice that it dose not load folders such as "saves and roms" on its own. So I made the ROMS folder. Then I placed a rom inside and in the psp is dose not show up. Do I have to chnage the file or something?

The Readme isn't exactly clear so in a nutshell:

It's a NeoGeoCD emulator so that means it uses the files from NeoGeo CD games not the more common NeoGeo MVS roms that Mame or most other PC emulators use.

You will also need the NeoGeo CD BIOS

Once you have both a game and the Bios then you can start running the emulator. In this example we are using Metal Slug.
Folder Tree starting from the FAME folder
    Code:
    +NeoGeoCD [Bios goes here]
    |+MetalSlug [ISO extracted files go here]
     |+NeoCD.mp3 [MP3 sound files go here]
Remember that you need to extract the files from the ISOs, it cannot run the ISOs directly.

Finally a fair warning just in case, dont ask for links to the BIOS or the CD images as it is against the forum rules.

Now im not too emulator literate so what do you mean when you say:

-Extract the files from the ISO's
-And what do I do with the BIOS after getting it?

The Bios goes in th same folder as the emulator eBoot (as shown above)

ISOs are a CD/DVD image, you have to either use a software tool (eg ISOBuster, Daemon) or burn it to a disc and copy the files from the CD/ISO to the game folder.

Do you understand the folder tree diagram?

Humm not sure I fully understand the tree diagram. What i have looks more like this:

    PSP
    -GAMES
    +neocd ( folder )
    -EBOOT
    -loading.bmp
    -Logo.bmp
    -patch.prg
    -startup.bin
    -ROMS
    +neocd%
    -EBOOT.PBP

But now im gessing this is no normal emu.

hmm ok.. I redo the diagram but this is going to be from a 1.0 version.

    Code:
    PSP [FOLDER]
    	GAME [FOLDER]
    		NEOGEOCD [FOLDER]
    			EBOOT.PBP [FILE]
    			LOADING.BMP [FILE]
    			LOGO.BMP [FILE]
NEOCD.BIN [FILE - THIS IS THE BIOS FILE]
    			NEOCDPSP.INI [FILE]
    			STARTUP.BIN [FILE]

METALSLUG1 [FOLDER - THIS JUST CONTAINS THE EXTRACTED FILES FOR METAL SLUG 1 ISO]
NEOCD.MP3 [FOLDER - THIS CONTAINS THE MP3S TRACKS FOR MUSIC AND SOUND]
There isn't a ROMS folder, each game must be in it's own folder. The name of the folder can be anything.
