i installed it and put the remotes in the mp root and it still says goodbye wats good

It won't work in custom firmware. Use iRShell instead anyway, it's more comprehensive.

is there a way to have this program "listening" whenever I am in psp main menu and then when I press a key (like R) it starts listening to send commands?

Remember guys, you have to enter the model of your REMOTE not the model of your TV when you open Universal remote. A good site to find the model of your remote is http://www.espares.co.uk/landing_remotes.aspx?c=1090& where you just enter your manufacturer and ur tv model and it gives you a remote model number.
