Did Cheat Device break my PSP? :(

Someone please help me

I upgraded to 3.90 m33-3 and got cheat device for Liberty City stories. It was working fine then it froze so i quit.

Now when i put the GTA umd or any other umds in they dont show up in the menu. The little searching ripple circle comes up in the bottom right corner and nothing happens.

Should i upgrade even more or has my psp finally broken?

Well, it could be a hardware problem without connection with cheat devices or firmware.
Try to update it to new versions of custom firmware and see what happens. If it persists your UMD drive broke and you should exchange it.
