    Wink The Complete Noob Guide

    General Information
    Music, Pictures, & Videos
First of all, you need to setup your memory stick with the correct folders. This is your basic structure:

    X:/PSP/
X:/PSP/GAME - Any game demos, or homebrew goes here.
X:/MUSIC - Music files go here.
X:/PHOTO - Images go in here.
X:/VIDEO - Video files are placed here.

    A more thorough explanation
MP_ROOT»» To store videos you'd like to watch on the PSP (MP4 format).
MUSIC»» To store songs you want to listen to on the PSP.
PICTURES»» To store pictures you want to look at on the PSP.
seplugins»» To store plug-ins you want to use with the PSP.
PSP//APP»» To store Official PSP applications (such as Go!Messenger).
PSP//Game, Gamexxx»» To store Homebrews & emulators that you want to use.
PSP//SAVEDATA»» To store your in-game save data.
PSP//SYSTEM»» Stores browsing catch & other forms of Catch.
PSP//Theme»» To store Themes, you might one to use one of them.

NOTE: With M33 firmware, you just need to format your memory stick and the folders will be created.

    Homebrew & Emulators
    Homebrew
For most homebrew games, you only need to know these steps:

    1) Have your homebrew ready to transfer.
    2) Find the folder containing the file called 'EBOOT.PBP'.
    3) You will move that folder to this location on your memory stick: 'X:/PSP/GAME/'

Many times, there is more to installing the homebrew. Be sure to read the documentation for that.

    Emulators
Emulators are similar to homebrew. The steps to installing them are pretty much the same:

    1) Have your emulator ready to transfer.
    2) Find the folder containing the file called 'EBOOT.PBP'.
    3) You will move that folder to this location on your memory stick: 'X:/PSP/GAME/'
    4) On the memory stick, find the emulator you transfered.
    5) Inside the emulator folder, find the folder labeled ROM or ROMS (etc.). You will put ROM files in that folder.
    6) If there is no ROM folder, place the ROM files with EBOOT.PBP.
    7) If your emulator requires BIOS files, follow the same rule for them.

NOTE: Be sure to always read the documentation.

    Custom Themes
    PTF Themes
First, you need a .ptf theme. You can find one on the main site or look elsewhere.

    1) On your memory stick, find/make the folder: X:/PSP/THEME
    2) Place the .ptf theme in that folder. X:/PSP/THEME/theme.ptf
    3) Back on the PSP, go to Theme Settings and simply change the theme.
