Default Best MP3 player for DS, with playlists?

    Hi,

I'd like to listen to audiobooks on my DS.

To do this, we need two things:

    1. Ability to handle playlists (*.m3u).
    2. Ability to save the exact spot in the audiobook (known as "bookmarking"), so you can go back to that same spot later.

    I have a R4DS with Moonshell v1.71.

p.s. Here is a typical usage scenario:

    1. Copy "History of Science" to the 2GB flash card on my R4DS.
    2. This audiobook has 600 .mp3 files, each file is 2 minutes long.
    3. The .m3u playlist has all of the .mp3 files in order.
    4. Load the .m3u playlist - it starts to play from the first file in the playlist.
    5. 60 minutes later, its onto the 30th file in the playlist.
    6. I save my spot with a "bookmark", for later.
    7. Battery runs out.
    8. I charge the DS.
    9. I restart the MP3 player, and use the "bookmark" to skip back instantly to the saved spot, and resume listening.
    10. An hour later, I want to listen to a song, so I save spot with a "bookmark", for later.
    11. I listen to the song.
    12. I use the "bookmark" to skip back instantly to the saved spot in the audiobook, and resume listening.

What you're looking for doesn't exist. Moonshell has a "resume" function in which it loads the last *.mp3 file you played (and possibly at the exact position you were at, not really sure since I never use the feature) but once you go to, say, a regular song it will use that as the new "last" song. That and it doesn't support playlists. LMP-ng and DSOrganize support playlists but don't have any resume or bookmarking functionality.
