Problems with my xbox "DVD Playback Kit"

I have just bought a "DVD Movie Playback Kit". The problem is when I start a movie. The control works just perfect untill I come to the DVD menu. When I come to the dvd menu it won't work anymore. I have tryed to push all the buttons, but nothing happens. I have installed the mod "Evolution X".
Can "DVD Movie Playback Kit" work when I have installed "Evolution X"?

It should do I think, never tried, but you could always put xbox media center on to run yer dvd's & most other video, & audio for that matter, formats as it supports dvd menus now its what I use for all my xbox viewing needs.
