Essentials explores the origin story of Sam Fisher, featuring new and classic maps from the Splinter Cell series. After learning about the death of his daughter, Sam disappears and is eventually discovered by Homeland Security agents in New Orleans. Surveillance photos show Sam in the company of Emile Dufraisne, a wanted terrorist. What's the Third Echelon's best agent dealing with terrorists? As Sam defends himself, all will be revealed.
In these new shots you can see some of the classic Splinter Cell maps featured in the handheld version. Revisited in the single-player game are the Oil Rig from the original Splinter Cell and Factory from Chaos Theory, an all-new mission set in Columbia is also pictured.
Splinter Cell Essentials creeps into stores on March 31.
