Is it possible to fix/force the zoom/aspect ratio in the Sony PSP PS1 psx Emulator?

Hi, I made an eboot of Chrono Trigger from FF collection, and with the zoom at original or normal, there is still unused horizontal screen area under and above the image, ZOOM is almost perfect, but it cuts out the essential dialogue boxes on the top of the screen.

Is there a way to edit the eboot, original game image or the emulator to force the picture to fit the screen completely, with no horizontal left over?
