    Default The great PSP-bricker: gravity

    Source Joystiq

It's not carelessness that kills PSPs, it's gravity.

Do your best to thwart gravity by applying these "super grippy" traction stickers to your gaming device to keep it from sliding off of surfaces and accelerating at 9.8 meters per second squared until it is magically transformed into a brick upon touching the floor.

Better off with the Logitech case - but you could put a couple of those stickers to the bottom of the case itself so that wouldn't slid off anything with your PSP inside it.

yeah, I like mine too. Their sturdy and cheap too .

Logitech PlayGear Pocket Case - about $20

then you have the damn ugly, but actually "more bang for your buck" Madcatz Stealth Case that has a stand for watching Movies an Can store two Memory Cards and a few more cool features like UMD accesiblity while in the case and what appears to be a protective screen.

Madcatz Stealth Case - about $20

Then you got some Pelican products like the skin grip that i dont see to be very usefull. It gives your psp the choice of a few dulled colors and may proviced a little bit of protection through a rubber grip. The only great thing I see about this is that it dosnt let you get your slimy hands on the PSP's actuall exterior as to give it smudges. It does however seem to come with a screen guard, which adds anti glare and scratch resistence. This is also a very cheap product retailing at an average of about $10 .

Scin Grip and Screen Guard - about $10

Pelican Also offers another armor product that actually looks sexier then the madcatz and offers screen protection. It also seems to come with disk jackets... which only people who sit on their UMD's would ever need. It seems to offer some sort of Glare Protection

Face Armor and Disk Jackets - about $10 ?

Next you have 3 products from a lesser known (for me at least) company called BoxWave.

First you have the armor case... It protects your psp.. and thats it. No extra features.. And it isnt much to look at either.

    Armor Case - about $20
    http://www.boxwave.com/products/armo...le-psp_556.htm

Next from BaxWave you have a choice of 3 damn ugly GameSheilds. One seems to have the ability to raise the buttons as well as the Thumbstick on your psp.. Perhapes that is a nice feature... but it is still damn ugly. All 3 of these offer what i see as limited protection. In trying to keep the psp playable this product fails to cover the whole of your psp.. Also I think it could hender a players performance.. but thats pure speculation

    Game Sheilds - about $13
    http://www.boxwave.com/products/pspg...le-psp_556.htm

Next you have another rubber grip.. this one however is less ugly then the pelican brand. This grip covers the buttons and the d-pad which offers a tiny bit of lift.

    Flexiskin - about $13
    http://www.boxwave.com/products/flex...le-psp_556.htm

and thats the most common psp protection options I have seen around here. Personally I think the Madcatz offers the most for your money, while the logitech is still the sturdiest and the Pelican Face armor has the best price all around.
