Can someone catch me up to speed on this please? Still on FW 1.5 here. Do you still need GTA to run HB/EMU on 2.6? and how (basicly) does that work?
With the newer games that are comming out I will probably give in within the next 3-6 months and either upgrade or get another PSP.

Yes u still need GTA to run homebrew & emulators on v2.xx.
It works through a save game hack, which u load as a normal save game on GTA and then load ur homebrew or emulators.
