Emulator Iso Problem

I have a PSP Fat. I have custom firmware 5.0 M33 installed on it. Recently I have downloaded an iso file and I want to run it. I have no idea how to so i googled it. I downloaded UMD emulator and I put the emulator the way it said it should be: The UMDEmulator folder and the % folder both in the PSP/GAME/ folder. When i went to the game folder, they both appeared as corrupted data. Could someone please give me a step by step guide on installing an emulator that will work and then properly installing the iso I have. Thank you. Also, I am experienced with the use of homebrew.
