Hi,please can someone help,i bought a psp,with 2.01 frimware and have managed to to get some homebrew games.

Nope you can't downgrade.

You can if you have soldering skills. Just take out the flash chip inside the PSP and replace it with a 1.50 one.

Seeing as that the only place you can get a flash chip that has 1.50 on it is an actual 1.50 PSP, wouldn't it be easier to just leave it in and use that PSP?

Buy a replacement motherboard, one with 1.5 installed.

just curious will it ever be possible that a downgrader will be made for the 2.1s and up or did sony really just block that option off? after all they did downgrade 2.0

You don't need to downgrade anymore to run some homebrew.

It may not work with all homebrew but its worth a try. I have not tried it myself as I have a 1.5.
