What a great coincidence, my own calc just gave up the ghost, and I have a test this coming week!
Hi all,
For those who haven't seen previous versions, XTiger is a unix emulator (under X Window) of a TI-92 calculator (Texas instruments).
It was originally written by Jonas Minnberg and was closed source.
Jonas Minnberg has not worked on XTiger for quite a while and he gave Misha Nasledov the code and permission to GPL it.
PSP-XTI is a port on PSP a the Unix version 0.8.
What's new in this version ?
- New background images
- Add Load & Save states
- Text editor to write your own comments
(or to read math courses )
- Finally fix issue with "Home -> Exit" & Sleep mode
- Add a new settings menu
ZX-81's web site
It's distributed under GNU licence and sources are included.
It has been developed on linux for Firmware 1.5 and 5.0-M33, and for the IR keyboard
part it has been tested using a Targus Universal IR Wireless keyboard on a PSP FAT.
How to use it ? Everything is in the README.txt file.
Enjoy,
Zx.

I'm kinda surprised but my Trig teacher let me use my PSP as my calculator last year. My Calculus teacher this year wasn't nearly as nice about it...
I like this emulator ... keep up the good work!
I want to do a port of pspxti to android ( i want to compile it as native library and load it to the java stuff with jni interface...) ...
Hello. Sorry for being a total noob but I never have downloaded things to my psp. If I was to get this: Firmware 1.5 and 5.0-M33 would I need to download both files? Thanks.
Zx-81 your emulator is wonderful.
All works fine but it doesn't support Grayscales display ???
Please excuse my poor English....
AgentRedfield if you are in 5.0 M33
You have to configure your PSP in Kernel 5.00 mode in the Recovery menu.
Then just copy PSPXTI from 'pspxti-v1.3.0-fw5x.zip' here http://zx81.zx81.free.fr/public/psp/...1.3.0-fw5x.zip to msROOT (PSP memory card) / PSP / GAME5xx/
I hope that will help you ^^
Excellent app zx-81! I was wondering if it would be possible to port this to the DS? If so will it be too hard.
