Any word on how much more battery life (hours or percentage) we can expect per charge? Looks like this'll be another must-have accesory for the PSP.

I have the 2200 Sony extended battery and I love it. If this is not cheap and works like it says it does, it may be worth a try.

Having a 4GB MS Pro Duo and one of these batteries would be a great combo.

I bought one of these the first day they showed on this site. As for how much more life, I can't tell you. But I take my psp to work to play mp3's. I let it run for 4 hours, and it han't taken one tick off of the meter. When I cahrged it the first time, I checked it often to make sure it wasn't getting too hot. No problem. So far, it's been great. But I realize it's early yet. Keep you all posted!

how different would the performance be to a lithium-ion 2600 battery?

You can't believe the ratings on no-name 3rd party batteries. They just print whatever number they want, so long as it convices you to buy it.
