    Youre forgetting that a megabyte isnt 1000kb its 1024kb. 65,536/1024 = 64MB.
    And if you crack open a 64 carterage the chips inside arnt that big (but by the same token the memory chip in a MS is about half the size of the casing.

    Umm.. Never knowed that. I just thought that windows rounded the file size And it's the same thing with Atari 2600 carts. The chip in side is about 1/8 the size of the case.

    Data inside N64 cartridges must be compressed in some way...

    Not really. Its much like gba or nes games. Some do compress but its not the norm.

    Actualy the only n64 game known to have serious compression was RE2 which had to write new ways to complres art to make it fit.

    when you notice that the actual chip in the 2gb stick is about half the size of the stick then you really are amazed
