Multidisc eboots for POPS? Does that mean discs 1-4 in one eboot?

Can someone shed some light on this? Searching is turning up little and it's confusing. I don't have original ISO files anymore, and I don't want to redump all my ps1 games, could I extract the ISO from the eboot and then recompress all the isos as a single disc for games like metal gear solid and final fantasy 7/8?

I have eboots, but not the images anymore, how do I combine them?

you need the original ISOs to make a multi disc eboot

I swear, this forum is getting dumber. I have a program that lets me extract the ISO's from the eboots, but I can't find anything to make multidisc eboots that actually works. I found one thing but it crashes with some dll errors when I try to run it.
