Will I be able to test it with a normal DS Emulator before I flash it to a cart?

Also, how would I get the information onto the cartridge?

Hey buddy I had the same problem as you but hope this helps...

First you need a flash reader for your pc.
Then you need flash reader for your DS.
First you download the Zip file onto your pc from the internet.
Then you need some sort of software to make the ds read the flashcard:http://ds.gcdev.com/dsfirmware/[/URL]
then you load it to the flashcard then your in.

If i am mistaken on any of this please let me know, im attempts to keep me from screwing up my ds.

i have no clue if this is right, all iv been doing is reading about it i havnt accualy done is.
