Thanks dude this is just what I have been waiting for. All the other "programmers" say programming is hard and the only way to watch videos on psp is to encode them into some weird format. thanks for being smarter than all the others. Just download movies, transfer them to your psp and watch them. Its that simple.

This is not nice for the others.
I really enjoyed having PMPMod installed.
Encoding the movies in the PMP format was not such a big deal, and you could really adjust the quality and the size to what you wanted to have in the PSP.
The problems remains the same here, you still have to convert the movie to the PSP screen format, you just have one step less to do.

Thank You cancan , no prob with getting it to work , was just pointing out that it's not a case of drop in any old avi to the ms and it's gunna play...
Most my xvid/mp3 DVD rips I've done are in 25fps (PAL) and at higher res (and I wouldn't expect PSP to play em no matter some1 codes, mind you PMP Mod comes dang close)
But hey it's a very impressive player and I look forward to giving a good test/thrashing when I get home from work..

I totally agree this is a program I always wanted to have.
The only thing is that saying that this program is great is good but it was not necessary to blame the others dev not having found the same solution to play the file without conversion. Maybe without them and without them releasing the source code this program would not been created at all. That's it but I'm maybe over-reacting here, sorry for that.

    Cool achievement.

But isn't this file being mirrored here against the author's wishes?
