    Default Controller Port Repair?

Hey, my controller port recently stopped working, it wont register my pads connecting or anything, I've been told tis probably due to my Joytech 4mb Memory Cards.

does anyone know how to repair this and have a guide to show me how as I'm a bit of a n00b when it comes to hardware stuff, or anything techincal really.

Also I've been told I'd just need to replace the resitor, and was wondering, to stop it blowing again in the future, would it be possible to fit a bigger one?

    Here you go :

But keep in mind f1 is a 0.39ohm fusing resistor and not a standard 10ohms one. I think I should make some more researches on the subject and make a definitive repair guide.

    Maybe next week ...
