Default UAE ported to the Wii

    Hi!

I've released the first version UAE:

Read the wikipage at wiibrew before starting - you'll need to install a kickstart ROM before anything will work. The first version is crude, but checkout the source code and improve on it!

Simon you are a hero !

Does it play games in ADF format or other formats?

I've tried ADF and ADZ at least, maybe others work as well. This is just the standard UAE support.

I've released v2 today. As always, download from http://uae-wii.googlecode.com and read install informaton on http://wiibrew.org/wiki/UAE_Wii. The list of changes in brief is the following:

    • Allow configuring most important options from the menu (Amiga models etc)
    • Fix Nunchuk/Classic controller conflict
    • Add virtual keyboard to set keyboard-to-controller-button bindings
    • Store configuration when modified in the menu and allow uaerc.user to override the configuration
    • Saving and restoring states now work
    • Harddisk support is now built in, but works so-so (and has no menu support)
    • Hundreds of small fixes here and there

Have fun and steer clear of bugs!

Nice! I've been followin this on googlecode and things have been progressing nicely!

Usb hard drive support for games would be nice for a future feature (I guess not really nessaary though).

    Downloading now!

Version 3 has been released. Download from http://uae-wii.googlecode.com and read instructions on http://wiibrew.org/wiki/UAE_Wii

The main feature is that Cloanto Amiga forever roms are supported by default and that a gui bug has been fixed.

I've built a version 4. The only real feature in it is "Mario kart wheel" support for games where it makes sense. It's also rebuilt against the latest devkitppc/libogc and SDL. It does not fix the mouse issue (see the bug report for details). It can be downloaded from:

Hi! Thank you for the great amiga emu, its excellent, I love it. Ive been using version 3 for a while now and had no real reason to move to version 4 but i thought oh well its here so i tried it...
Its set up exactly as my v3 but doesnt work for me Ive downloaded it from several places etc. ive also tried just copying the uaerc and the boot dol over my v3 version but it still attempts to load and then stops at the black screen. I have a mod chip and homebrew channel, (probably quite old now) Is there a known issue i can fix? everything else including v3 works great?
