Default GMDL No Preview map image

    Hi,

I've just installed GMDL and it seems to be working fine at first glance. The google maps screen with all the buttons and menu comes up fine - but once I've selected the right area and click 'Preview' the screen just shows empty white boxes with red crosses in the top left corners (like the image has failed to load) If I continue without a preview the same thing happens when I get to the screen where I should deselect any box I don't want to included in the map; if I ignore this and continue to 'download map' it fails to capture any of the tiles.

I did wonder if my firefox extension 'flashblock' was responsible, but I disabled it and the problem is still there - any ideas what's causing this??

    Thanks in Advance.

EDIT: Finding Flashblock very difficult to remove I deleted all my firefox extensions in my profile to fully eliminate it, and it wasn't the problem - I still just get blank white squares on the preview. I hope someone can suggest something or the application is totally useless to me :-(

    Yeap, the same here
Nor gmdl0.5.10a.zip nor gmdl0.5.09b.zip seems to work anymore.
If anyone comes up with a solution, please post it here!

I tried tweaking GMDL and selected several other map sources with no success. Preview window fails to load. Hope we can get a fix soon, my psp 209 just arrived.

    Thanks in advance

No success here either, tried all settings (that I can think of anyway). It seems its downloading maps if you proceed but you cant really see what you are downloading.

I am using GMDL 0.5.10 on Vista X64 (ultimate) if that helps anyone.

Are there someones who can tell me how to download only the files in the error.log when using gmdl? not to download the whole files again.

    Same problem for me.
Yahoo maps are working fine though.
