doom v0.05+ saving

i woundered if anyone could help me i have correctly set up doom and can quite happily play doom1,2 goldeneye and quake wads however i cannot seem to save my game. i go into the doom menu go on save click until it says game saved but when trying to load a game there is nothing there? pls help, thanks

doom 2 only saves sofar. your outa luck with doom1

thanks for info hawkeyefile but is there a certain folder i need in the doom saves folder to get doom2 to save?

nope i did not have to do that.

although i think the wads have to be named what the folders in the save dir are in order to save. ill test it.

ok the wads have to be named the same as the save folders in order to work.

wow thanks alot i hope your right ill try it now and hopefully ill be able to play doom to my hearts content without worrying about always starting from the beginng lol

EDIT- yay it works thanks alot well DOOM2 saves havent tried other wads yet
