cwcheat help please?

I'm trying to use cwcheat with silent hill and none of the codes work,help?

Maybe there no cheat for it or the game ID on the umd doesnt match any cheats in the database like when i play ff7: crisis core the ID number is 1 off and if i change the database to use the cheats for ff7: crisis core to the ID number on my umd the cheats didnt work for me even thou there was a list but you could always try changing the ID number in the database to the ID number of the umd and see if the cheats work but backup your database or copy it and rename it cheat1.db then go to the option to relaod database and put it to number 1 or make ur own cheats for it. hope this help a bit but it might confuse u more lol

is that a psx game as add cheats for psx games can invole alot of explaing and sometimes hard work as I did it for ff7 for psx maybe there an easier way then the way i did it but am not sure, i should try reading the read me file or tutorials if that dont work i can try and do a step-by-step guide to doing it
